(clockwise from top: deep fried soft shell crab, spicy tuna,
eel, shrimp and avocado roll, sirloin beef with mushrooms)
And if you finish eating before 8:00, head over to Ginjer, just a short walk away. Here you find an assortment of cupcakes (50NT each; buy 5 get one free), with flavors like chocolate chocolate, pear, and carrot cake. This was the first time I've had cupcakes in almost a year, I think, and after biting into the chocolate chocolate I remembered how much I like cupcakes, especially ones that are moist and oh-so-chocolate-y.
(We bought several different flavors to try,
but the clear winner was definitely the chocolate chocolate.)
So that was our Wednesday night dinner. Not too shabby for Hump Day.but the clear winner was definitely the chocolate chocolate.)

i don't think i've had ginjer's chocolate chocolate yet.. i could tell from the pics of the spicy tuna and rolls that it was a-plus! hahaha.. that shows how rare it is to find elsewhere in taipei!
Yes, definitely try the chocolate chocolate!
Wow, is A-Plus really the only place you've found spicy tuna in Taipei? Come to think of it, I don't think I've seen it anywhere else either...
yeah last year i was really craving spicy tuna and found it niko niko rolls. but their rolls were pretty awful and the spicy tuna was TOO spicy. it's prob more an american thing, like rolls.
